Do I need anti collapse mesh on pallet racking?
The answer will really be dependent on each site, however if you have a single entry run of one or more bays of racking this should only be loaded from one side and therefore will require anti collapse mesh to protect from items falling from pallets. There are of course exceptions to this the most common and obvious is if the rack backs on to a wall that is the full height of the rack. If in any doubt a warehouse pallet racking inspection by an independent company should be commissioned.
It is sometimes also the case that anti collapse mesh is installed to the rear of pallet racking even when it does back against a wall to protect windows or partitioning when racks are placed against offices or mezzanine floors with offices.
Here at 2h Storage we can provide an independent inspector as we are not tied to any one supplier. We can also provide you with the supply and installation of any materials for repairs and anti-collapse mesh.
