Full Turnkey Solution
2h Storage Solutions provided a full turnkey solution for Tor Coatings.
Project requirements: To design and fit out the inside of a warehouse which was an institutional build warehouse.
Project detail: To facilitate multiple dispatches to multiple users with a wide range of products of various hazard classes. The works were complete to confirm to UK Building Regulations FM global data sheets and regulations. COMAH regulations, British Aerosol Manufacturers’ Association (BAMA).
This included the supply, delivery, installation and commissioning of the following:
- VNA Pallet racking 12000 pallet positions
- PLC control automated and integrated Siemens control featuring pills relays.
- Mezzanine Floor 6m high. designed and built on existing floor slab using intelligent engineering solutions to overcome slab detailing.
- Picking station on the mezzanine floor
- Conveyors from picking station to dispatch on the ground floor under the mezzanine
- Aerosol cage enclosure – believed to be largest in the UK
- Sprinkler system FM standing including roof sprinklers in rack sprinklers
- Automated lights to conform to appropriate lux levels
